Combining Work with Pleasure-
the perfect business
Hello, my name is Sarah Katsikas. In the summer of 2014, I was looking for a job, but wanted to find something that would be fun yet fulfilling. It was then that I founded Skats Kritters. Currently, I am a senior in college at Southern Methodist University studying digital media and advertising.
Our pets are part of our family. When we have to be away from our pets, we want to leave them with a caregiver who is attentive and responsible, which doesn't always happen at a kennel. It's helpful to live in a town where people care so much about their pets! Word quickly spread and by the end of my first summer, I had many clients in Rye.
Since beginning my business, I have been able to support an organization that I am passionate about, the World Wildlife Fund. Their mission is to build a safe future for both animals and humans. A portion of all my proceeds are donated to this worthy charity.
Please take a look around my website and contact me if you are in need of a responsible, reliable pet or house sitter!
Making it a family business
Hello I'm Jake Katsikas. In August of 2016, I officially stepped in to care for all the furry clients because Sarah left for college at SMU. It was an easy transition because I had already interacted with our repeat visiting pets while they stayed in our home. Working as a team with my sister, Sarah, allows for us to build the business and take on more clients.
Now, I am a sophomore at Wake Forest University and pet sit when I am home for holiday breaks and summer vacation. My contact information may be found under the contact tab of this website. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.
